Caerphilly Castle is one of the great medieval castles of western Europe. It is the second largest in Britain after Windsor Castle and it is the first truly concentric castle in Britain.

Raglan Castle
This modern castle dates from between the 15th and early 17th-centuries, when the successive ruling families created a luxurious, fortified castle, complete with a large hexagonal keep, known as the Great Tower or the Yellow Tower of Gwent.
