            <title>Resort Porter and Car Valet</title>

		We are looking to recruit a Resort Porter/Car Valet to join the Concierge Department.  Under supervision, you will provide a personalised service to all guests.  Your aim will be to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction as you will be acting as a representative of the Resort to the outside world<br /> <br />Overview of duties:-<br />·        Greets arriving guests/visitors and bids farewell to departing guests/visitors. <br />·        Assists guests with loading/unloading items into and out of their vehicles. <br />·        Provides legible claim tickets to guests for their luggage. <br />·        Assures safety and security of all guest luggage. <br />·        Assists with carrying guest luggage to and from guest bedrooms. <br />·        Transports guest luggage from the Resort entrance area to the designated Bell area. <br />·        Provides guests with directions to Front Desk check-in area. <br />·        Answers departmental telephone within three rings, using correct telephone manner and etiquette. <br />·        Remains in assigned department maintaining correct stance. <br />·        Assists Concierge staff with guest requests and services.  <br />·        Alerts security about any possible security risks or circumstances. <br />·        Delivers items to guest rooms on request. <br />·        Uses every opportunity to recommend the hotel facilities. <br />·        Assists with transport requests i.e. driving guests to various resort locations using company vehicles. <br />  <br />You will always smile, be confident, polite and use guest’s names, if known.   Good levels of English are required and fluency in a second language is an advantage but not essential.  As a Resort Porter/Car Valet we are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, pro active, courteous and always smart of appearance.   A full driving licence is required along with experience of dealing with customers face to face. <br /><br />

						We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Floor Manager to join our Conference and Events team at Celtic Manor Resort.<br /><br />
						The Convention Centre has 20 meeting rooms ranging from those that can seat 2 to those that take a maximum of 200 delegates, in addition we have the Caernarfon Suite, a fully flexible conference room which can accommodate up to 1500 for a meeting and 1000 for a dinner. We also have an Exhibition Hall, 1200 square metres of space which is an ideal venue for trade fairs but has also hosted beach parties, nightclubs, conferences in circus tents, gala dinners and of course purpose built exhibitions. In addition to this we have 3 meeting rooms at the Lodge Clubhouse and 2 rooms in the old Manor House the largest of which holds 280 for a dinner, which are popular for weddings and special occasion events. <br /><br />
						Following in the footsteps of the Ryder Cup we are now also branching out into Special Events and there are some great opportunities to be involved in delivering 'outdoor' events such as Polo at the Manor taking place for the second year in July this year when we will be providing hospitality for close to 1000 guests on the practice ground of the 2010 course.<br /><br />
						Celtic Manor Resort has been awarded Conference Hotel of the Year by C&#38;IT magazine for the last 5 years.<br /><br />
						You will be one of 4 Floor Managers reporting to the Operations Manager and will be given responsibility for specific events across the department. Your role will be to control the day to day organisation of the department, organise and brief staff teams involved with the food and beverage element of the days events, meet and greet clients, and ensure that the highest standards of service are delivered as part of the customer's seamless journey through the Resort. You will need to be an excellent team player, a motivator, have good communication skills, a passion for delivering high levels of customer service, possess a professional attitude and have high standards of presentation. <br /><br />

motivated professional to join the existing team at the Golf Academy with
immediate effect.

<br />The
positions have emphasis on delivering the highest standards of coaching, custom
fitting and service. Previous experience at a Resort would be beneficial
however not essential.

<br />The
successful candidate will be accountable for the teaching operations maximising
revenue and profitability.

<br />Duties to
include:

<br />To ensure all residents, members and visitors receive the
highest level of tuition available at the resort, from a PGA qualified
professional

<br />Control all lessons through the booking system and to develop
monthly training for the retail team for driving lesson sales.

<br />Assist sales and marketing with any coaching developments,
in house or externally.

<br /> 

<br />Assists The Golf Manager with the systematic training of PGA
trainee team members, monitoring their development and ensures that all Resort
standards related to department training are met by setting specific
objectives, goals and targets. And assess accordingly.
